because like, it is extremely possible that a woman who has been in an abusive relationship in the past can gravitate to a similar man in the future

believe it or not, patterns of abuse can happen in a woman’s life and it doesn’t make her claims any less valid or her voice less worthy of respect or attention

with the amount that victims are silenced already, the absolute least we can do as people is hear out those who do come forward

It also bugs me when people assume I’m from the Middle East or know Arabic. I did not realize all 1.5 billion of us had to originate from the exact same location and look and speak and act the same way.
